The instructions for activating the app are not that clear. I can activate it for my own account, which I clearly do not want, but not for her. Thanks for helping

    Set up 1Password - 1Password Support

    When you get to the bit about scanning the Setup Code you'd scan her code, not your code (either from her Emergency Kit or from the 'Get the Apps' page of 1Password.com while logged into her 1Password account). :)
