new master works on synced iPad. There is a primary vault. Separate from that is a family vault. Then personal and shared below that. iPhone touch id works.

1Password Version: 6.8
Extension Version: 4.6.9
OS Version: 10.11.6
Sync Type: none

  • Hi @chernobog,

If a Primary vault exists on a device then the Master Password for that vault will unlock 1Password on the device, rather than your 1Password.com Master Password.

In most cases when moving to a 1Password membership we recommend moving any items from the Primary vault into the Personal vault and then deleting the Primary vault.

    Thanks.

    Hi @chernobog,

You can do it like this in 1Password on your iOS devices:

To remove your old Primary vault, choose 1Password menu > Switch to Vault > Primary. Then choose 1Password menu > Delete Vault.

And like this (after deleting any secondary vaults in a similar way) in 1Password for Mac:

To remove your old Primary vault, choose 1Password menu > Switch to Vault > Primary. Then choose 1Password menu > Delete Vault.

Wanted to mention that because in your original post these look like versions you'd be using on a Mac:

    Extension Version: 4.6.9
    OS Version: 10.11.6

    I hope this helps. :)
