Hi all,

Any tips on a contingency plan for at least your master password, etc. in case of accidental death so that a loved one can recover all of your passwords, or at least the important ones (i.e. to get onto your computer, etc.). Some other password managers (i.e. LastPass has an emergency contact feature in case of such an issue). Any ideas generally on a password contingency plan for at least one password while at the same time maintaining security, or a function within 1password that can assist with such a scenario?

-Thanks

  • @bobi44: If you have a 1Password membership, I always recommend printing a copy of your Emergency Kit with your Master Password noted in the space provided and keeping this in a safe place accessible to your loved ones in an emergency. Keeping it in a safe deposit box is a popular option. This will include all the information needed to access your 1Password account. :+1:
