Unable to apply my license after reformatting my Mac

I had to re-format my MacBook Air. when I re-downloaded 1password it would not give me a chance to apply my license. It is not in trial mode and I can not edit my vault. I have a copy of my license, just have no option to put it in. I also found the email where it was sent to me and clicked on "Apply my license", it opens fine in 1password, but 1password remains in the uneducable "trial" mode.

    Hi @dangkhoa - did you perhaps download 1Password for Mac from the Mac App Store instead of from our downloads page? If so, you'll need to quit 1Password and the Mini by typing ^⌥⌘Q (or just holding down the Control and Option keys as you choose Quit from the 1Password menu), then drag 1Password to the trash. Don't use any app cleaners or uninstallers to do this, as they can remove more data than we want them to. Then grab the latest copy of 1Password for Mac from us and follow regular install procedure. You should see the opportunity to license 1Password once you launch our version.
