I am having difficulty updating my software. I am getting getting error message OSStatus error - 67688.

Welcome to the forum, @LataHotch! Let's get you updated:
- Please go in 1Password to Preferences > Backup and click Backup Now if you're using local vaults. If you're using a 1Password account, you don't need to worry about this step.
- Quit 1Password and the Mini by holding down the
ControlandOptionkeys as you choose Quit from the 1Password menu). - Drag 1Password to the trash -- do NOT use any app cleaners or uninstallers to do this; just drag the 1Password application from your Applications folder to your Mac's Trash, then empty the trash. This will not affect your data, only the application itself.
- Visit our downloads page in your browser, and directly download the latest version of 1Password for Mac (6.8.2). Double-click to open the package installer and follow the prompts to install 1Password for Mac 6.8.2.
