Migrating desktop data to online

Hi I have just installed the 1Password app on my new refurbed MacbookPro which is running Mac OS High Sierra version 10.13

I had the very old version of 1password on my very old Macbook just prior to getting this

I have managed to transfer all my old data successfully to my 1Password desktop app however for the life of me I can't get the dekstop app to sync with my online version of 1Password and thus sync all my data

How do I sync all the logins stored on my desktop app with the online version of 1Password?

    @zedshah,

    If you sign into your account via the Preferences -> Accounts in the Mac app it should prompt you to migrate your data into your 1Password.com vault.
