1password wont work with firefox (latest version) on Mac ?

Ive got 1password 1Password Version 6.8.4 (684000) installed on my mac running OSX 10.12.X

I use 3 browsers regularly : Chrome, Firefox, Safari (all on their latest versions).

Recently ive had an issue where 1password says it cant fill in form felids on Firefox and shows me the following error (see attached screenshot)
suggesting i updated Firefox, although its already completely up to date.

Any ideas what i can do here ?

    Hi @vels - sorry to hear you're having troubles with this just now. 4.6.9 is an older version of the Firefox extension; please remove it and restart Firefox, then download and install a fresh copy of the 1Password extension for Firefox. If that still doesn't work, we've got a guide for troubleshooting extension issues. Let us know how that goes for you!
