Hello,

I am getting an error message when attempting to uninstall 1Password (latest version) on my Mac (Sierra 10.12.6).

Here is the error message I am getting:

The operation can’t be completed because one or more required items can’t be found.
(Error code -43)

Backstory:

  • Did fresh install of MacOS (i.e. wiped HD and reinstalled fresh - no Time Machine restore).
  • Downloaded 1Password using wrong iCloud account (not the one I purchased 1Password with).
  • Now I want to uninstall 1Password, and reinstall using the correct iCloud account, so that my license applies correctly.

Any help would be very much appreciated.

cheers!
RL

Update: I DID try the uninstall instruction for Mac (i.e. [control]+[option] + 'Quit 1Password & Extension...'), and then tried to drag to Trash. I got the same error message.

  • @redlog,

I'd try restarting your machine and then trying the instructions again.
