I notices that when viewing a document on Android, it downloads the document locally. There are two ways to remove it: 1. select delete downloaded copy, or 2) in the advances options, select delete all downloaded documents.

It is easy to forget to do this, after viewing each document, or annoying to have to do it. On Mac, it deletes everything that is stored locally, and decrypted, when locking 1password, or when it self-locks. Should not nor work the same on Android? Especially with he higher likelihood of third parties ending up with a phone than a computer.

When talking about Document files being stored locally, it's helpful to distinguish between the encrypted and decrypted versions of that file. When you download and view a file with 1Password for Android, the encrypted version is saved to local storage and then a decrypted version is made available to the app of your choosing for viewing (for example, Adobe Acrobat Reader in the case of a PDF).

1Password takes care of deleting the decrypted version of the file when you return from viewing the file, so you don't have to worry about doing this yourself. The encrypted version remains in local storage though, so that you can continue to access it without needing to be online. Each subsequent time you tap to view the file, a new decrypted version of the file is generated and made available to the viewing app.

The options for deleting the downloaded copy in the item detail view and in the advanced options are for deleting the encrypted versions of the file. This could be useful if you need to reclaim memory on your device, or if you simply would prefer not to have the file stored locally.
