1Password not working on Verizon site

Verizon has fairly recently changed its login page (https://www.verizon.com/home/myverizon/), and 1Password no longer seems to work. I can’t get the iOS v7.04 (on iPad) or Windows 10 1PW 6.8.488 on Chrome or Firefox extensions to either fill in the fields with my saved credentials or to recognize that the fields have anything in them if I fill them out myself and try to save as a new login (the save works, but the fields are empty). This seems strange to me since the Verizon Wireless login page, which has also been changed and looks the same as Verizon’s (https://login.verizonwireless.com/amserver/UI/Login), seems to work fine. But I’ve tried over and over - including, on the iPad, from within the 1Password app - and it just won’t work. Is it me?

@jcat: https://myverizonid.verizon.com/amserver/UI/Login does not seem to be using an iframe for the login form, but the other one is. It is not possible to fill in frames on iOS at all; access is prohibited for security reasons. I'm not having any trouble filling a login on this page on either iOS or Windows, so I'd recommend trying that and saving it as your login URL. Now, the one caveat is that Verizon killed my user account when I stopped giving them money, so it's possible that 1Password is able to fill but there's some other issue when trying to actually login, but let me know!

Yes, that site works, thank you, easier than cut & paste. It's a pain because that's not the one that comes up when I google Verizon login, which is what I usually do those rare times I need to log in from a browser (instead of the app), but I can bookmark it or use the 1Password browser. There is no way to load a login URL from the iOS extension is there?

  • I'm glad to hear that URL works for you, @jcat. It isn't currently possible to open Login URLs from the extension on iOS, therefore, the next best option would be to open the URL directly from the Login item in 1Password. Alternatively, you can bookmark the URL, like you suggested. :)
