I apologize if the topic has been discussed.

I received notification that version 1Password 6.8.496 was released. I clicked on the Update button, but nothing happened. Version 1Passord 6.8.492 is present on my PC.
Do I need to download a separate kit and install?

Thanks for writing in.

I think I know what happened and we'll get that fixed. The banner may not direct you to Settings > Update properly to install the update.

You're welcome. This update is a minor one but we're working on a huge update soon.
