Favorites broken in Mac? Should be appearing at top.

My favorites are buried under a bunch of other logins instead of appearing at the top. They seem to work at Google.com, but not Stripe.com or other sites. Here is a screenshot showing my Stripe.com logins with the favorites getting buried down on the list and not in alphabetical order. It's annoying on sites that I have many logins. (I'm a webmaster for lots of sites so need access)

    Hi @locomojo,

    The cause will be the stored website field. The very first grouping 1Password performs is based on whether a Login item is a match for the FQDN (Fully Qualified Domain Name) or just the registered domain name. The FQDN matches always come first and the registered domain name matches second. This can result in a favourite being the top of it's sublist but meaning it appears somewhere other than the top of the final list. Could this explain what you're seeing?

    @littlebobbytables Thanks for this explanation, though I'm not sure I can wrap my head around it. Are you suggesting that for those of us with this issue should go through the "website" field of our entries and make them consistent? E.g., make them all stripe.com instead of account.stripe.com (or what have you)?

    @IntlOrange,

    The ideal situation would be to have each login's website field exactly match the URL of the form that you wish to fill that login into. So, for example, for this forum:

    https://discussions.agilebits.com/entry/signin?Target=
    would be a lot better than
    https://agilebits.com

    Does that make sense?

    Ben
