@blaxxz: Thanks for getting in touch. Good question! 1Password X, like our other versions of 1Password, compare the URL for the website you're visiting to the URLs in your saved Logins. If any match, they will be displayed in the menu so you can select them to fill. That way you don't have to worry about a phony website tricking you into filling login credentials for another there. I hope this helps. Be sure to let me know if you have any other questions! :)

Just to explain the whole thing again.
1Password X has warned me about the current page and the stored login. That this does not fit.

That's what I meant by 1Password comparing the links.

@blaxxz: Ohhh. That's a rather different issue, but yeah, that's another good example of a phishing protection 1Password has. Typically we're talking about different domain names, but in this case it's the protocol.

For instance, if you save a login at http://example.com, it will allow you to fill it at https://example.com without complaining, but in the opposite case 1Password will warn you if you try to fill an https://example.com at http://example.com, as that would be a really easy way for someone to impersonate virtually any site using malware on your computer or a rogue Wi-Fi hotspot. Thanks for clarifying, and for bringing up such an important point!
