"The add-on could not be downloaded because of a connection failure"

in Browsers (Edge, Chrome, Firefox, etc.)

Just got invited, and very excited to test it, but when I click on the in the email here is what I got: "The add-on could not be downloaded because of a connection failure".

What happens? Any solutions?

    Welcome to the forums! We're delighted to have you here. 🙂

    It sounds like you're running into a common problem we see with Firefox when some form of antivirus or security software is blocking the download of extensions directly from Agilebits.

    Almost always the quickest solution is just to open the link you received in a different web browser (like Chrome) which will allow you to download the .xpi file. One you have it, just open Firefox and drag the .xpi file into any Firefox window. This should then allow you to properly install 1Password X.
