1Password X on FF Nightly / MacOS

I assume bug reports here is appropriate? I'm using 1.6.3 of the firefox xpi installed in firefox nightly, 61.0a1 (2018-03-27) (64-bit).

Before logging into an account, I pushed the "1password.com" menu at the bottom that allowed going to 1password.ca or 1password.eu. Now when the browser plugin "sign in" button redirects to https://start.1password.com/signin/?auth-only=1 to login, I just get a blank white page. Restarting the browser didn't affect it.

The debug console has these errors & warnings. I'm not sure how to expand the ellipsissed text:

    Hey @HunterHaugen,

Welcome to the forums! We're delighted to have you here. 🙂

I'm sorry for the issues getting your account added to 1Password X. Can you please try the following:
    1. Remove 1Password X from Firefox by select Tools (from the menu bar) > Addons, and then the Remove button next to 1Password.
    2. Reinstall 1Password X using the link we provided in your invitation email.
    3. Click the sign in button and try signing into your account again.

If you see the same as before, please send me a diagnostics report by following the link here.

Thanks for taking the time to test 1Password X and help us weed out any issues!

@beyer Removed the addon, restarted ff, and reinstalled the addon. Clicked the sign-in button, got the same blank page with the same errors in the javascript console.

    I sent the diagnostics report.

    Thanks, @HunterHaugen!

We've had a few people write in with a similar issue, and we are working on finding the cause.

When you get a chance, could you try creating an entirely new Firefox profile, installing the 1Password X Firefox beta, and signing into your 1Password.com account?

I'd be delighted to know if that makes any difference for you!

    Thanks,
    &drew

1.6.4 came out before I tried a new firefox profile and that seems to work. Thanks!

  • Glad to hear that, @HunterHaugen! Be sure to let us know if the issue returns and thanks again for testing the beta. 🙂
