How to search in just one topic?
I'd like to search in just one topic (let's say in 'Mac Beta'), to avoid creating a new discussion for a same subject.
Maybe this is a basic question, but I can't find a way to do these type of search. Always I get a result with a mix of topics ('Mac Beta', 'Mac', 'Windows', etc).
Is there a way to search in just one topic?

@somelez ,
Its not simple using the forum's search (most forum search capabilities are poor).
Instead, you can use google to search the site, and refine it to a particular sub-forum (somewhat).
Example. To find the word "changelogs" in the Mac Beta forum, you do:
site:discussions.agilebits.com "Mac Beta" changelogs
And this will find your topic here:
site:discussions.agilebits.com "lounge" "just one topic"
It's not perfect, since Google doesn't provide site searches beyond the domain/subdomain.

@MrC I agree, but most provide some way to do one forum... so your reply made me curious so I googled vanilla forums search options....
Wow...

Click the down arrow to expand.
Also,

The author search doesn’t really work on iPad (what I am on now the autocomplete doesn’t trigger the keyboard) but there is so enhanced functionality and logical nots in there If you read that second link.

Ah, Good For You!
Thanks, I just learned something new.
It's a terrible UI element - should have a indication that it is clickable.

It's an awful UI, This link launches the page with the options expanded.

Agreed on all points. I actually use the advanced search URL as my bookmark here (one of very few bookmarks I have still). It's definitely not perfect, but it helps. You can also access it right from the search results:
Not obvious, but it's there and can be useful. Cheers! :)
