Should iCloud sync be working?

I have a standalone v6 license on my Mac (AgileBits Store) and a Pro version on my iPhone.
I thought sync through iCloud should only work on Mac App Store versions.

Not complaining, but wondering if I was misinformed!

    Hi @robdejonge,

    That was the case in the past but Apple changed the rules some time ago so that apps outside the App Store can sync via iCloud. If I remember correctly the restriction that the app has to be available in the App Store still exists.
