Funny Bug? 1Password extension + Firefox + Profile Manager

Options

Tested with new install.
I see this mentioned in 2017. Maybe it is related.
To reproduce:
Start Firefox with terminal in profile manager mode:
/Applications/Firefox.app/Contents/MacOS/firefox-bin -P
1Password icon in Firefox flashes and will not stop flashing.
Exit Firefox.
Start Firefox normal from Finder.
1Password does not flash and functions normal.

Also when on profile manager mode, another strange thing I see is...
With 1Password removed, not installed in browser.
Start Firefox in profile manager mode.
Second click the 1Password from system menu top, then click install to Firefox
And 1Password seems to not see Firefox running and loads a second copy of Firefox in a 1 inch tall browser then pops up a error message.

1Password Version: 6.8.8
Extension Version: 4.7.0.90
OS Version: 10.13.3
Sync Type: Not Provided

    Hi @akissz,

I haven't tried this for a while but yes, launching Firefox in this different manner means 1Password cannot verify the code signature and if it can't verify it refuses to allow the connection. Given that launching Firefox normally doesn't cause this issue it will be very tough to justify this being a high priority I'm afraid. In terms of profiles Chrome's approach is just better although not great if you're anti-Google at all. Still, it's well designed and doesn't require faffing around with Terminal windows to use.
