[Bug] 1Password can't lock down automatically after the main window is closed once [Not a bug]
Steps to reproduce this bug:
- Go to 1Password -> Settings -> Security, make sure you set a time in the "Lock after computer is idle for" option. Here I'll presume it's set to 30 seconds.
- Close the main app window while it's still unlocked, but keep the app running in the background (i.e. there should be a little 1P icon in the notification area).
Now the app will lose the ability to lock down automatically after 30 seconds, even when you reopen the main app window.
Note: this is an old bug that exists before 7.0.553 and it's independent from Windows' OS versions.

Thanks for writing in.
When you waited 30 seconds, did you stop moving your mouse and keyboard completely for 31 seconds?
We do not start the auto-lock timer until you've stopped moving your mouse and keyboard, that's the only condition we check for the auto-lock, having 1Password closed or open isn't a factor.

You're welcome. In this case, it isn't a bug because we haven't implemented a setting to lock down when the window is closed and we may not actually do that because in 1Password 7, auto-lock is far more reliable using this system compared to 1Password 4 which had two separate auto-lock processes that didn't sync in real time.
