“Paste from (another device)” ?

I was sitting at the table using my iPad and my MacBook was open next to me. I went to open 1P on the iPad to look up a username/password and instead of prompting me for my Master Password I saw something briefly pop up that said “pasting from MacBook” and 1P opened on the iPad.

So, what was happening here? 1P on the MacBook had NOT been opened in over 24 hours.

    @camner,

    It sounds like Apple's Universal Clipboard feature pasted the last thing you put on your clipboard on the MacBook onto your iOS device's clipboard. https://support.apple.com/kb/ph25168

    Yeah, I find Universal Clipboard super confusing and unreliable (which is perhaps what makes it confusing...)
