Browser Authentication

I'm getting the browser authentication each time I open Safari. I haven't upgraded Safari (11.1) recently yet I got it today at 11:34 am, yesterday at 9:18 pm, and yesterday at 1:52 pm. Those are just the times I took screen shots. There have been other occasions, too.

What can I do to stop this from happening?

    @RCMjr: Either Safari is damaged, or something is interfering and preventing it from saving/restoring the authorization. Are you by any chance resetting it or using other software to do so?

    No, I'm not resetting/haven't reset anything.

    @RCMjr: Well, rather than jumping right to reinstalling Safari, it would be helpful to know what you are doing. Do you have "adblocker" or other "security" software which may be interfering? :)
