Bug report: Software License Key default text incorrect

When you add a software license key entry, the item "license key" gets the greyed out ("boilerplate"?) text "this is the beginning of a note" which seems wrong.

    Hmm. I could go either way on this. It actually is a Notes field so that it can accommodate multiple lines, but I do agree that the text is a bit confusing in this context. Thank you for bringing it up!

    But the main issue is not that, the issue is that you cannot copy the license field!!!

    You can if you edit the relevant entry. In any event, the problem was fixed in 7.0.6. The latest released version is 7.0.7 (although of course there may be a delay getting that if you are using the Mac App Store version).

    Yup, as @Stephen_C says, both the placeholder text and ability to copy the license field have been fixed in 7.0.6 and newer.
