Keyboard shortcuts for copy_username and copy_password in 1Password 7.x

Re: https://discussions.agilebits.com/discussion/70041/1password-6-for-windows-ignores-keyboard-shortcuts#latest

Wondering if the feature for keyboard shortcuts has been implemented in the new release (7.x) as I'm still not able to use the described shortcuts here: https://support.1password.com/keyboard-shortcuts-web/ . I'm specifically interested in the ability to use shortcuts for "Copy Password" and "Copy Username".

Any plans to include this in the near future for Windows? It will save lots of mouses

  • Hi @mmohamed,

    Thanks for writing in.

We haven't added any new keyboard shortcuts yet to 1Password 7.

The guide you linked to is only for 1Password.com web app, it is not for the desktop programs, they will have different shortcuts. You can find the desktop shortcuts here: https://support.1password.com/keyboard-shortcuts/

We do plan to add more shortcuts in the future, yes. For now, you can press the shortcut key or press Shift + F10 and it'll bring up the context menu where you can copy certain fields.

The Shift + F10 then using keyboards arrows will do it for now (at least I don't have to use the mouse  ). Ideally it would be nice to use a single set of keyboard keys at once to copy...but it is what it is for now.

Thanks, you can close this discussion thread. Have a nice day!
