Issue upgrading from v4 to v7

I attempted to upgrade from v4 to v7 on Windows 10. My current set up is v4 (with a license) syncing to a vault stored in DropBox, I have no desire to use a 1Password account. I followed the simple steps in the "Upgrade from 1Password 4" section at https://support.1password.com/upgrade-windows/. When I open v7 the 'New vault on this PC...' 'Open vault on the PC...' and 'Import' options in the menu are all grayed out. How do I set up v7 to sync with my vault in DropBox?

    Hi @ebhatche,

    Thank you for getting in touch! I am sorry to hear you bumped into the issues with 1Password 7.

    Is it possible that you have installed one of the earlier versions of 1Password 6 on your PC? If you have tried it, please try to reset the local database for 1Password 7, and then select your local vault in Dropbox while setting up 1Password 7 from scratch:
