Are my able to upgrade to iPassword 7?

I have a 1Password account and see there is now 1Password 7. I have used 1Password for many years and don't know the type of account I have. Do I need to pay to upgrade?

    If you want to upgrade you will have to pay. But you don't have to upgrade yet if you don't want to.

    You may not have a 1PW account, as you have used 1PW for many years.

    The word "account" is used by AgileBits to refer to the subscription method of using 1PW. The old-style licences are not referred to as accounts.

    There are advantages in moving to a subscription, see https://support.1password.com/why-account/ but you can continue with a stand-alone licence, and you can buy a licence for 1PW7 from within the program.
