how to import cvs walkthrough on windows 7

Options

The walkthroughs online don't match with what I am seeing. I would like to import my cvs file from chrome but so far I have not been able to fine a way to import a cvs file. The current instructions say to click a username on the top right, I don't have that when I open that app.

    Hi @jonbob,

    Thanks for writing in.

    The instructions you're seeing is for 1Password.com account where there's a web app via https://my.1Password.com that you can sign into and that's where you see the option to click on your account name on top right.

    If you do not have a 1Password account, then you may be using a standalone license for standalone vaults. In this case, 1Password 7 for Windows currently does not support CSV for import, only 1PIF or AgileKeychain/OPVault. Our community moderator, @MrC, has built a solid converter you can use to convert the CSV file into 1PIF format that 1Password can import. You can find out more here: https://support.1password.com/import/#set-up-the-utilities-and-convert-your-data

    @jonbob,

    I'm going to suggest that you use the newer version of the converter suite . Use the Stable Bits version, 1.10. Much work has been done on the csv converter since the release that is posted at MikeT's link.

    Let me know if you need help - I'm happy to walk you through the process.
