Hi! You can scan 2FA & OTP barcodes via the 1Password app. Just create or edit an item, select 'one time password' and click on the QR code icon. That will open the camera and you can scan the barcode. After you save the item, the 2FA/OTP code will be automatically added to the item in 1Password X.

I'm on Linux. There is no 1Password app.

@jan_jan: It isn't currently possible for 1Password X to scan anything. You can, however, copy the TOTP secret and save that in a new custom field in your login item. Just set the type to "one-time password" and you'll be good to go. :)

    Hey @jan_jan,

Your timing couldn't have been better — we actually just added this feature to the latest beta version of 1Password X.

    Get the beta version: https://chrome.google.com/webstore/detail/1password-password-manage/khgocmkkpikpnmmkgmdnfckapcdkgfaf

In the beta, you can select an item, click "Scan one-time password" and it will scan any QR code on the page to add your one-time password. Let us know what you think about this feature!

    Cheers,
    Mitch
