If Chrome is set as the default browser 1password 7 won't fill anything. Works just fine with Safari set as the default browser.

Hi and welcome to the forums @lhaley!

Have you downloaded the 1Password extension for Chrome? You can find it on 1password.com/browsers while you're in Chrome.

If you have the extension up and running and it's still not working quite right, make sure 1Password 7 and your browser are both in your system /Applications folder and try following our guide here.

Hi Henry, I do have both apps in the same folder and it is still not working. Are there any other things we need to take care of before it works properly?

    Thanks
    Francisco

@figual - not to nitpick here, but they don't just need to be in the same folder, they both need to be in /Applications, not any other folder on your hard drive.

Both are in the /Applications folder and this still doesn’t worok. Are there any other configurations needed?

@figual - with 1Password open, have a look at any item in your list. Do you see a "Read Only" badge up near the top right corner?

@figual - ah, the old "did you turn it off and back on again?" trick! There's a reason that's a tech-support cliché: because of how frequently it works. Keep an eye on things and let us know if the problem recurs or you notice anything else. Have a great weekend! :)
