iOS sorting inconsistent [Improvement under consideration]

The sorting of items in my vault on iOS is inconsistent.

I have a few items which I want to be at the top when sorted by title. I added "* " in front of their title, so a title of "ABC" becomes "* ABC".
This works on my iMac and Windows but on my iPhone and iPad, these items are sorted to the bottom of the list. If I change the prefix to "A* " they move to the top on iOS as well but strangely they moves even in front of an item called "Apple". If "" sorts to the bottom, then I would have expected "A" to sort after "Apple".

Anyway, the main problem is that iOS sorts in the order of alpha, symbols, numbers whereas on Windows and macOS the order is symbols, numbers, alpha.

Please correct this and make sorting on iOS the same as on macOS and Windows.
