chrome extension not working. New... It was working 2 days ago.
I use a mac, and 3 browsers, Chrome, Ffox, Safari
Just today this happened. See images. Instead of the browser app drop down at the point on the tool bar, it opened a box at top left 0,0 , of the screen. Then would not accept as input to the page the selected items name & pwd.
I reinstalled the browser app from scratch.
On chrome it says "desktop app required" as if it is not installed.... It is. has been for years.
As I said, it was working 2 days ago.

OS Version: 10.13.4

NEVER MIND... DELETE THIS, OR AT LEAST COUNT IT RESOLVED.
I REINSTALLED EVERYTHING, REBOOTED... NORMAL BEHAVIOUR SEEMS TO HAVE RECOMMENCED.
If there is any value in this report, it might be in what may have happened to detach the window from the browser like this.

In cases like this any digging probably would really require that the issue was present so given things are working again for you it will probably remain a mystery. Hopefully whatever happened doesn't return but if it does please let us know and we'll see if we can figure it out.

Used to call such mysteries sunspots. Unknown origin or solution, & just glad that its over.
