How to change my sign-in address for family account?

I looked for the way to do the change in the title.
I found an old article which says that there it is in “profile” but I couldn’t find it while I logged in to old sign-in address.
Do you have detailed guidance for the purpose?

  • All 1Password Families memberships now use the https://my.1password.com sign-in address. It is no longer unique / customizable.

    I hope that helps!

    Thank you very much! :)
For more better understanding, could you give link for the article if there is?
I want to know how to handle my current family address.

There's no article, as everyone will be using the same my.1password.com sign in address for their family and individual accounts going forward. Much simpler. :)

(How long) Can we still use our "vanity" domains?

How will this change be communicated? (for people not reading this topic)

  • I’m not aware of any effect on existing customers other than the fact that you can also use my.1password.com as your sign-in address, and will no longer be able to change your existing sign-in address. Unless it becomes more of an issue than that I don’t see any sort of an announcement / communication to customers beyond this thread.

Ah, then I misunderstood the "going forward" part.

I thought that meant we had to use the generic address in the near future.

  • Not as far as I’m aware at this point. I would imagine if that were to be the case in the future we would have a more formal announcement via the usual channels.
