Login to a Chrome extension

Hi there, I have a chrome extension installed, when I click the Icon it opens a new tab which requires a Login something along the lines of.
chrome-extension://bckjlihkmgolmgkchbpiponapgjenaoa/login.html
How can I get that into 1Password to auto complete the Login.
Regards, Eddie

1Password does not have an "auto complete" feature, and will only give you Logins that match the current URL as options for filling. So you'd need to have the URL for an actual website in order for that to work. But you can certainly save the login credentials for extensions in 1Password and then either copy and paste or right-click the Login to use the 1Password for Windows "Type in window" feature. I hope this helps. Be sure to let me know if you have any other questions! :)

Hi MikeT, thanks for the reply.
chrome-extension://bckjlihkmgolmgkchbpiponapgjenaoa/login.html shows in the URL field.
I have tried https://bckjlihkmgolmgkchbpiponapgjenaoa/login.html, but this doesn't resolve.
I have passed the info back to the suppliers of the extension, who say "This is a great question - and while we don't have any workarounds for this one at the moment :-( I have already passed your suggestion along to our development team and, hopefully, we'll see that feature capability in the not so distant future. :)".
So back to old school for the time being !!.
    Thanks again.

  • Hi @steadyeddie,

I apologize for my mistake, we haven't updated 1Password to work with non-http/https URLs yet, it is something we'd like to do in a future update but it has an impact on how we handle anti-phishing defense as the protocol does matter.
