I can't log in when I try to log in today.

I purchased a standalone version license yesterday.
I can't log in when I try to log in today.
I do not mistake the master password.

What should I do?

  • Hey, @arupaka! Chances are this is a know issue, normally caused by signing out of your last account or removing your last vault. We're working on getting if fixed up, but for now resetting your local database should correct it:

    1. Open (but don't unlock) 1Password and choose 1Password > Exit.
    2. Open Start, type %LOCALAPPDATA%\1Password to search and press enter.
    3. In this folder, rename the data folder to data-backup.
      4, Open 1Password 7 and open your standalone vault(s) again.

    Make sure you know your vault's location on Dropbox or your filesystem so you're ready to open it up again. And, of course, if you have any questions or need help along the way, please feel free to ask -- I'm happy to lend a hand. 🙂
