trying to import my password and acct info to new pc, its says i do not have permission to access

Options

I have paid 1password one time fee before and I do not have a monthly subscription. In fact, I do remember upgrading this acct within this year. I just got a new pc and trying to import my sign in info and pw (zip file) and when I try to import ( I have signed into my 1password acct), it say I do not have import permission for any vault. and it says my account is frozen. I need to transfer all my sign in info and I do not know how to do it right.

@christypet: Thanks for reaching out. I’m sorry for the confusion! A "one time fee" for a license does not apply to a 1Password.com membership subscription account; it is for only one specific 1Password app version. If you'd prefer the license option, you'll need to remove the account and use a local vault in the app you purchased instead.

However, you may want to consider a 1Password.com membership, since it gives you access to all of the apps, the web interface, and does away with license management and sync configuration altogether — you simply login to your account to authorize a device and access your data, along with all of its benefits. After the trial though, it is frozen unless you subscribe.

Either way, let me know if you have any questions!

Ok, so I subscrited and was able to upload my csv files and imported them. But, now I am ore confused than ever. I click category, loggins, then click one of my account, say Amazon. It lists all my acct info and notes has website info. But how do I log in? The user
name and password section has COPY. So confused!!! and frustrated!

@christypet: The 1Password.com website can't fill login credentials into other websites. You can copy and paste from there, as you implied. But you probably want to use a 1Password app on your device so that it can fill login credentials for you. You said, "PC" earlier, so maybe you're using Windows. If so, you can get the app from the Get the Apps page in your account:

    https://start.1password.com/apps

And then install the 1Password extension in your browser:

    https://1password.com/downloads/

There's a good overview for how it works here:

    https://support.1password.com/1password-extension/

And if you have any questions, we're here for you. :)
