How to add someone to Family with existing account

Hi.
I am trying to invite someone that has an existing account to a family shared vault. When I send him the invite and he clicks on the link, its forcing him to open a new account. Is there a way around this?

    @kylieasst: No. That's what they'll need to do. But I am sorry for the confusion. If they do not create an account under your 1Password Families membership, they will have to pay for their own, and will not be able to share vaults with you securely. Once they've created the new account, if they don't want to keep using the old one (I'm betting they don't), they can sign into both accounts in the app and copy their data from the old account to the new one.
