GUI "bug" report for browser plugin.

It's not really a bug per se, but a potentially high-risk situation is possible. When I try to log in to the 1Pass in the browser (FireFox 64.0) the cursor in the master password field blinks even if the window has no focus. This way one can accidentally input their password in a random place (like Google search).

  • Hi @g_kimber,

    Thanks for writing in.

Can you reproduce it consistently? We've received a dozen of reports like this over the past two years but there were no consistent reproducible steps to reproduce this. We added more workarounds in 1Password 7.3 (and previous updates) that helps for some but not for all.

This is definitely not what 1Password is programmed to do and it is also Windows that handles the focusing and the cursor, so it should've dimmed 1Password mini if it doesn't have the focus.
