Can someone please break it down for me:

Why would it be in my interest to move away from my old method of using 1Pass stored in my Dropbox Acct to using the fully cloud hosted version??

    I'm glad to hear you're thinking about moving the a membership - I'd be happy to answer your questions. There are a number of reasons you may want to move to a membership:

    • All current and future updates of 1Password on all platforms included in your membership.
    • Access to your data through the 1Password.com website.
    • Simple sharing of vaults between family memberships in a family account.
    • Full versioned backups of all items in your account - you can restore back to any version.
    • Many features only possible through a shared membership, such as Travel Mode.
    • When you get a new device, you can simply sign into your account to sync your data there.
