Are there any plans to enable 1Password to support a physical asset register?

Having just bought a new external hard drive, I want to record the model and serial number and perhaps a photo just in case it is stolen or lost in some way. It occurs to me that 1Password is the logical place to keep an asset register of all my physical assets. While I could just use a secure note, it would be much better if there was a dedicated asset register category.

Are there any plans to provide such a service within 1Password?

    Hi @abevan! Welcome to the forum!

    At this moment we don't have plans to add a hardware category, so the best place to do it would indeed be a Secure Note. 1Password 7 now supports markdown so you can format your notes the way you prefer. This allows you customize the structure of your notes and make it exactly the way you like even without having a specific category for it :)
