    Hello,

I'm also having issues with this feature. Here is my experience:

Here is what happens when I hit the hot key, CMD-\

I clearly both the 1password Chrome extension, and an AgileBits login

When I hit the browser extension icon, it works as expected. It used to work as of a few weeks where I could hit the CMD-\ and it would find the site I was on and fill - now I just get some random suggestion for Chrome and seems broken that its telling me to install Chrome extension which I have already.

I'm believe I'm on the latest of everything
    MacOS Mojave: 10.14.2
    Chrome: 73.0.3683.75 (Official Build) (64-bit)
    1Password 7
    Version 7.2.5 (70205002)
    AgileBits Store

    Thanks!

  • Hi @aktive0

Could you please let me know which version of the 1Password extension you have installed in Chrome? In Chrome navigate to chrome://extensions/ using the address bar and then look for "1Password extension (desktop app required)."

Also: Have you restarted the Mac since this problem began?

For the record, version: 4.7.3.90 - However, looks like a computer restart fixed it! Never seen a Chrome extension need to get reset by a full restart before (as you can see, I have a lot of them), but will keep this in mind for next time. Thanks!

  • Thanks for the update @aktive0. It's an old trick, but there is a reason we keep recommending it as a first troubleshooting step. ;)
