Items are modified although they have not actually been modified

When I interact with items in my 1Password.eu vault, they are marked as modified although I have not changed anything.
By "interact" I mean, open for example a password item, tab on it and click reveal. The "modification" however does not happen immediately, but only when the app is force-quit or (I suppose) when iOS freezes it.
I can reproduce this pretty easily:

  • open a password item
  • tab reveal
  • close the item
  • force-quit the app
  • the item now as a new "last modified" date.
