How can I make sure attachments are downloaded?

I have my DL, passport visas etc as attachments in 1password. I just needed to dig up my passport and low and behold it wasn't downloaded...and I had no network connection. (much sweating ensued). I was later able to push download and view my passport, but does that mean it's permanently on my phone or not?

    @gumby: Once you download it, it will stay on the device unless you remove it or you have the OS do it ("Offload Unused Apps", or it starts removing cached app data as a result of low free space).

    I only now saw your reply, sorry. It would be good to have a way to pin certain things on the device as I might need, say, my insurance card but not have a net connection. Should I file a feature request via mail?

    Any time you view a Document on your device it'll be "pinned." Try it. :) Open a Document on your device, disconnect from the internet (turn on Airplane mode), and then try viewing it again. It should open up just fine.
