Be able to search on different sign ins

Hello!

Whenever you are on a login page, you click the username or password fields and then the small window appears with the available credentials for this site. In some cases, I have many of them, and browsing thru them is a little bit troublesome. It would be best if I can search in the list. Is there a way to do that? I am on Windows 10, Chrome extension.

Thanks,
David.

Hey @davidchavez – welcome! Happy to have you here. :)

While the 1Password X inline menu doesn't have an obvious search function, you should be able to start typing and your options will narrow down a bit. I'll take Gmail as an example since I have a ton of Gmail accounts. Rather than scrolling through all of my Gmail Login items in the inline menu, I start typing a portion of the email that I remember until there's only one option left to select. Pressing down > enter will then replace whatever text I had typed with my actual username/email. Give it a try and let me know how it works for you!

  • Thanks a lot! Didn't occured to me to try that :)
