Hi,

I have seen on npm.org that there is a bunch of 1password related libraries under the brand 1password.

As I didn't find some documentation about them, I was wondering if they could be useful to create/get 1password items or if it should be better to wrap the op cli ?

My use case is to retrieve/create items in a Yeoman scaffolding process.

Thanks,

    Really https://npm.org? Or https://www.npmjs.com?

I doubt any stuff on there is from Agilebits (/the 1Password brand).

    On, npmjs: https://www.npmjs.com/package/@1password/web-api

  • Hi folks.

I'm checking with our 1Password.com development team to see what the purpose of the listings on npmjs.com is. Hopefully I'll have info to share soon.

  • I confirmed with our team that those listings in npm are intentional. What value they might offer to a 3rd party project... I couldn't say. But you're welcome to take a look and see if there is anything there of value to you.

    thanks @ben, I will have a look.

  • Further clarification from the devs:

It’s marked as unlicensed there and is in alpha stages (0.2.2), so it should be clear to devs not to use it. Unlicensed means no one but us is licensed to use it.

Sorry; as such not likely to be anything of use there.

@Ben, thanks for the details, indeed I didn't give a look at the license.

So I will stick with an op CLI wrapper.
