Cannot install 1Password on iOS 9.3.5 device

According to https://support.1password.com/system-requirements/ 1P 6 requires iOS 9.3+

I'm having problems syncing the new opvault from the dropbox with my 1P 5 app on iOS 9.3.5.

So I should be able to upgrade to 1P 6...?

As no update was shown in the app store, I deleted the app. Now I can't install 1P at all ("Unable to purchase.... not compatible....")

How can I either:

  • recover the 1P 5 version or
  • install the 1P 6 version?

You can download the latest compatible version of an app that you've previously downloaded using these instructions from Apple:

    https://support.apple.com/en-us/HT201272#apps

I hope that helps. Should you have any other questions or concerns, please feel free to ask.

I use 1Password on a new iPhone with one AppleID (company administrated), but have never used 1Password on my old iPad2, which is linked to another (private) AppleID. Now I would like to sync my passwords also with that old iPad, but cannot find a way to a 1Password version, which would be compatible with the old iOS 9.3.5.
I use iTunes on a PC with Windows 10 (not a Mac).
Is there nevertheless any way to get 1Password installed on my old iPad2 with iOS 9.3.5?

@didikarl: The App Store will not allow you to "purchase" (even for free) and app on an incompatible device. So you'd need to first "purchase" the current version on another device, and then when you try to install it from your Apple ID's purchase history (as Ben mentioned above) you'll be offered the most recent version compatible with your device.
