When I click on the website link in one of my log in items, it doesn't open a new tab in Safari like it used to. I now have to cut and paste the link into safari.

    Hi @Popst

In Safari under Safari > Preferences > Extensions do you see 1Password listed there? Is it enabled?

@Popst - thanks for checking. Please quit Safari, then Quit 1Password 7 Completely by typing ^⌥⌘Q (or just holding down the Control and Option keys as you choose Quit from the 1Password menu). Finally, restart your Mac. Let us know if that changes anything.
