1Password7 can not read Korean paths.

This article was written by a translator, and there may be some awkward sentences.

When I was using 1Password4 and upgraded to 1Password7, my browser did not recognize that 1Password7 was installed on my PC.

I had to reinstall the browser extension and 1Password7 several times, but I could find a difference in the account name when compared to the PC environment, which had not been fixed and had no problems.

The account name was in English and the account name was in Korean.

C:\Users\MyAccount\AppData\Local\1password\app\7

C:\Users\김한글\AppData\Local\1password\app\7

After that, I was able to solve the problem through the following process.

  1. Delete 1Password7
  2. Create a new account with an English name
  3. Install 1Password7
  4. Installing the browser extension
  5. Normal operation

I can not be sure that this problem will happen to all users, but at least it happens to me, and I think it's a problem that can happen to users in some countries other than English accounts.

I hope this problem has been fixed, if possible.

Thank you all for reading this article.
