1P 7.2 [Android] crashes when trying to WLAND sync with MacOS
Hiya. I've been using 1P pretty much the beginning on MacOS, and definitely from the beginning on iOS — and syncing them for years. I'm new to Android, but it's not going well. 1P installs fine from Google Play, but when I try to WLAN sync with my MacBook Air, 1P crashes on my Android device (running Pie). I get the upsell screen ("Welcome to 1P 7") with sync options, the Android app can see my laptop, and it prompts me for the secret; and if I type in the wrong one, I get a quick red error saying it's wrong — a good sign, I think. Then something goes wrong and it dumps me back in the upsell splash. I've uninstalled and reinstalled, rebooted, etc, but no luck. I have no idea how to set about resolving this, so any advice would be greatly appreciated! 👍

Yes, it is. I usually get a dialog with four options: (App info, Close app, Send feedback, and and copy crash log URL), but sometimes it fails silent and dumps me in the upsell screen.

I see. It looks like you're using a custom ROM, correct? This build is known to have trouble with our toast notification tint in 7.2. We've added a workaround in our beta build though. If you want to test it out, just opt into the beta following these steps: https://support.1password.com/betas/
