Why do some apps show a generic folder icon in the Software Licenses sidebar?

Some of my apps with multiple versions show the icon of the specific app in the earlier version(s) of the app in 1PW, whereas later versions show the folder icon. All entries are for the Software Licenses category.

1Password Version: 7.3.2
Extension Version: 7.3.2
OS Version: OS X 10.14.6
Sync Type: Dropbox

    @redbuffalo: I don't actually have any Software License items with "folder" icons, and it's not something I've heard of before. Are you maybe getting a "folder" icon because there is actually a folder with that name in /Applications/?
