Update fails due to validation failed OS error "-67688"

I have an old laptop that I was trying to update from 1Password 6.8.2 to 6.8.9 but after multiple attempts, it keeps failing. It keeps downloading and extracting, and failing, until I get that error code above. Any ideas?

Hi @Stanlee13!

It sounds like you are running quite an old version of 1Password, and probably you need to reinstall the app instead of updating it. Can you please try downloading the latest installer from our website and running it again? It should replace your existing version with version 6.8.9.
