Greenshield log-in

I am trying to create a log-in for Green Shield Canada:

https://onlineservices.greenshield.ca/planmember/AccessMgmt/Public/SignOn.aspx

However, the website address stored in 1Password keeps defaulting to:

https://onlineservices.greenshield.ca

How do you overcome this?

    Hi, @ggtcanada.

I have checked this website on my computer and 1Password did save the main URL of the website.

If you want, you can edit the login for this website manually in the 1Password app and change https://onlineservices.greenshield.ca to
    https://onlineservices.greenshield.ca/planmember/AccessMgmt/Public/SignOn.aspx.

    1. Open the 1Password app on your computer.
    2. Go to Green Shield login and press "Edit"
    3. Change the website address and press save.

Now you have https://onlineservices.greenshield.ca/planmember/AccessMgmt/Public/SignOn.aspx saved in your app.

    I hope that helped.
    Sincerely,
    Yulia C.

    Hi, @Yulka1355

Thank you, that solved one problem but now the username and password fields don't populate properly. (this is only my second day using 1Password)

    Hi, @ggtcanada.

It seems that the site first loads the password window, for some reason, refreshes and then fills the login window and that's why it doesn't work properly.

When you open the link press "CTRL+\" (Control + Backslash) when in the login window, or click the 1Password extension icon on your top right corner and select Green Sheild.

    @ggtcanada:

What happens exactly when you try to fill your login information on that website?

    Hi, @ag_ana

It loads the password window, but as Yulka1355 describes, it seems to refresh and not enter the parameters correctly. I tried the approach that Yulka1335 suggested using "CTRL+\" but the same thing seems to happen.

    Hi @ag_ana,

What happened when I clicked "Open and fill" from 1Password app, it opened the site, filled the username, refreshed and didn't fill in the password.

    @ggtcanada

I have checked again this website on my computer and it works fine. I mean it still doesn't fills up correctly but when I press "Ctrl+\" it works as it should.
You should press "Ctrl+\" from the login window. Could you try again and see if that works?

Hi, the first three screens are:

    1 -https://onlineservices.greenshield.ca/planmember/AccessMgmt/Public/SignOn.aspx

2-Site tries to fill in password (and not username)

Then it comes back with an error message saying username must be entered.

    Hi, @ggtcanada.

When this website loads it does something strange and autofocuses the username and password fields several times, which causes 1Password to skip the username field or to delete it after filling it.
    Here's what I suggest:
    1. Open the 1Password app on your computer.
    2. Go to Green Shield login and click "Edit" on your top left corner.
    3. Scroll down to "submit" window and choose "Never submit" and click save.
    It should look like this:

Now, that you've clicked "Never submit" 1Password won't try to send the form immediately after filling, which will give you the chance to fill it properly by using "Ctrl+\" or by clicking the 1Password icon on your browser.

    Hi,

I tried this but the web page just stalls after https://onlineservices.greenshield.ca/planmember/AccessMgmt/Public/Signon.aspx and displays a blank screen

  • Hey @ggtcanada, I have tested the site you mentioned (https://onlineservices.greenshield.ca/planmember/AccessMgmt/Public/SignOn.aspx) and I see a similar issue with the username getting cleared out and/or not being filled the first time, so I've let our developers know about this! In the meantime, I'm having luck if I try the keyboard command twice in a row, with the second time filling in the username and it sticking. Do you see that, too?
